SEN Special Needs Music

We believe that music is a powerful tool to connect with and help adults and children with Special needs.   We find this work truly rewarding. Music is one of the top motivators for adults and children with special needs and it is a multi-sensory experience.  Our workshops and sessions are fun, enjoyable, motivating, confidence building and encourage development of new skills.

This year we were funded by MENCAP to engage with their adult service users through music and work closely with them towards achieving their Gateway Award for Bronze, Silver and Gold.   We worked on the project for 3 months which ended in a final performance at the Town Hall in Wallasey for the Gateway Awards evening presented by the Lord Mayor.

Melody Makers has worked with Stanley School and Elleray Park School on term projects aimed at encouraging speech and language development.
