2015 - 2016 Big Lottery Funded Community Music Project

About the Project

In May 2015 we secured funding for one year from the Big Lottery to provide instrumental tuition workshops for adults and children in the local community to learn violin, tin whistle and music theory from scratch.  The Project is lead by professional musicians Mikey Kenney and Jo Pue.

Performances at local festivals

In October 2015 we did our first ever performances live in public as part of two local annual festivals.

1. The Heswall Arts Festival  2015 and

2. The Liverpool for the Liverpool Irish Festival 2015 - at the Museum of Liverpool  (See photos in gallery).

We are currently rehearsing for our Christmas concert which will take place on the 2nd December 2015 at the Melrose Hall .
